Bagel & Cream Cheese, ANYONE???

One of Trey's favorite breakfast foods are the yummy bagels and cream cheese from Panera Bread. His favorite bagel is the French Toast bagel - just like his Mama! MMMMMMMMM!!!

The more the cream cheese the better! Other favs of his are scrambled eggs with cheese, oatmeal, and cheerios!
And he's never met a breakfast meat he didn't eat! His new favorite is choco milk, but that is reserved for special outings. And he loves all kinds of juice!

Do ALL kids . . . . ?

OK so we all know ALL kids love to play in the pots & pans. We all know that boys love their trucks.

Here's the million dollar question: do all kids drink water from the dog dish....? There is a strong possibility that Trey may think he is part dog. . . . . And why wouldn't he think that? He walks on all fours just like his pals, they eat the same food (of coarse, Jake & Pedro love eating anything Trey gives them), they share the same room, the doggies get lovies from Mama & Daddy too (don't worry, of coarse, Trey gets many many more), they all play with the same toys (Pedro has eaten all the hands off the Trey's Little People toys), all of them love to chase Harry together, and most important they are loyal and love each other.

Here's the story: about dinner time each night - from the other room Trey will hear me filling up the dog dishes with food and water. He comes trucking into the kitchen with spoon in hand and starts making his doggie soup. He takes the food from one dish and puts it in the water dish. Takes his spoon and stirs it around. At times he takes a taste, as any good chef would do to make sure it's just right. Yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Trey is actually drinking water from the dog dish! He's such a crack up!

Better Homes & Garden!

Can you believe it? THIS IS OUR HOUSE! Who would ever believe that our little shoebox house in Merriam, KS could look this beautiful! I certainly didn't! With the help of KAT Nurseries (Tory's company) and all his loyal employees (our good friends Beth & Orlando Vidales) they brought our yard alive again for another wonderful season of gorgeous trees, plants, flowers, and more. Every time I drive up the driveway I just feel so blessed to have this much nature growing around my home. When we are in the backyard playing with Trey and the boys (Jake, Harry & Pedro) or BBQ-ing the yard just takes my breathe away. It's more than I could ever ask for in a yard. It's our own little private park in the back. If you are in the area stop by any ole' time, take a look, come on back & have a good one with us! It's pretty amazing.

WILD MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about a daredevil! The kid's crazy! The other week we were at a park with some friends . And Trey spotted a slide in the distance. He crawled as fast as he could; the kid is the fastest crawler I've ever seen. In seconds he was at the bottom of the ladder; ready to climb up. While I was standing there in awe that he would even think of climbing something so tall and not be scared - he started his climb. And may I add this was no ordinary slide. It was about 8 feet tall- no joke. Without a blink of an eye he was off. No fear in his eyes! He didn't look back once for either his Dad or myself. He would climb the ladder, slide down, make an attempt to go up the slide backwards and figured out that didn't work even if he grabbed the sides with his little hands to pull himself up (smart little guy), then crawl back around to the ladder and start the process all over again. He went through the process about a dozen times! He loved going down the slide on his belly - he would face plant it at the bottom and laugh & laugh! He's a wild man - that's for sure! The wilder - the more he likes it! That afternoon he took a great nap!
